It looks as though the G2x got some inside snapshots which are assumed to be inside T-Mobile’s inventory. It looks as though Magenta is preparing the launch to the next generation of it’s G-Series. If you haven’t heard, the T-Mobile G2x is going to be a stock version of LG’s Optimus 2X. This phone is one of the first devices to be powered by a Tegra 2 dual-core processor and will be T-Mobile’s first, most powerful device.
If you take a look at the photo’s above, Tmonews‘s ninjas caught the picture of the G2x. Well, we took a picture of the original G2 boxing and they are pretty much identical. Change the design up a bit, flip the phone around and slap on a big ol’ X next to the G2 logo and there you have it. The rumored launch date for this device is April 20th. The G2x will be launched with Android 2.2 (Froyo) but soon upgraded to Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). We are assuming that the G2 will be upgraded a couple months after the G2x is launched. An HTC Rep has already confirmed the update but failed to give an estimated ETA. Are you anticipating this device? Planning on picking it up? Or are you like us, over here, and waiting for the HTC Pyramid to arrive? Let us know in the comments.
